DOTERA has been helping Japanese people in winter since before the invention of electricity.
I have tried to interpret in my own way its strong existence that has continued to this day with little change in the way it is made or worn.

One side of the collar is a Japanese-style collar, made of different wool on the front and back sides, with cut-offs in between that give a glimpse of slacks as reinforcement.
The other side is like an attached shawl that moves freely from the side of the neck away from the body.
It can be held up, folded, or wrapped around the neck.

There are no buttons, and all are secured with flat cotton straps that are threaded through buttonholes in various places.

The sleeves can be sealed with a string to hold hand luggage; a 1.5L plastic bottle will fit without problem.

The lining is made of two pieces of cupro with Japanese cotton sandwiched between them and hand-sewn into a pattern while binding.

The medium-weight melton outer fabric and quilting combine to create a kotatsu-like piece of clothing.It will be a secure weight.

Please wear it with an independent obi that can also be used as a shawl and a cotton flat cord as an obi.

Since it will be very warm, we hope you will wear it over slightly lighter clothing.

The outer layer is made of medium-weight Melton and quilted fabric, making it a comfortable, kotatsu-like garment.

Wear it with a separate obi that can also be used as a shawl, and a flat cotton string as an obi.

It will be very warm, so we recommend wearing it over a lighter layer.
