I wanted to make Samue out of wool, and this work was created as a piece of western clothing.
The left body, made of two pieces of cloth, has the silhouette of a Samue, and the right body has a stand-up collar that resembles a shirt.
The short length and loose sleeves create a roomy yet lean silhouette.
The waist is tightened by passing a string that goes around the waist from the inside through the buttonhole on the left side.
There is a feeling of tightening up, similar to the feeling you get when wearing a sash.
The fabric is a slightly thin wool with just the right amount of tension and smoothness.
-My desire to make a samue (workwear) out of wool grew stronger, and I created this piece as clothing.
